FAQs

Before your next step.

A few clear answers to help you introduce your project.

Common questions

Do I need a complete plan before contacting you?
No. Explain what you want to achieve and which details are still undecided. If you have drawings or other documents, tell us their current stage.
What information should I include?
Start with the property postcode, the type of work and your main priorities. Add the design stage, preferred timing and indicative budget if known.
Can I enquire before buying a property?
Yes. Make the purchase stage clear and explain what information or access is available. Any discussion needs to reflect what is known at the time.
Do you cover my area?
Blue Curve Build is Birmingham-based. Send your postcode and project outline to check whether your location and proposed work are a suitable fit.
Can you give me a price from a short message?
A short message introduces the project; it does not necessarily establish enough detail to price it. The scope and available information need to be discussed before a pricing commitment.
Should I share my budget?
If you have an indicative range, include it. If you do not, say so. It is useful to distinguish an established budget from an early assumption.
Can I send drawings or photographs?
Mention what is available in your enquiry. The form does not support uploads, so please do not put confidential document links into the form; ask how to share the relevant information.
Will I need planning permission or other approvals?
Requirements must be established for the particular proposal. Do not assume an exemption or approval based on general website copy. Tell us what advice or approvals you already have and confirm responsibilities with the appropriate professionals.
How soon can work start?
Include your preferred date, but availability and a project programme must be confirmed separately. An enquiry is not a booking.
Can I live in the property while the work takes place?
This needs to be discussed against the actual scope and site arrangements. Make your occupancy requirements clear from the beginning.
Is design included?
Do not assume that design, planning or other professional services form part of the building scope. Explain what you require and confirm the available service and responsibilities explicitly.
