Services / House Extensions / Birmingham

More room for the way you live.

A kitchen with space to gather. A dining area connected to the garden. Room for a growing household or a different daily routine.

If you’re considering an extension, start with what you want your home to do better.

Think beyond the extra space.

The most useful brief explains both what you want to add and how you want the existing house to change.

Is the kitchen too separate from the rest of the home? Do you need somewhere quieter to work? Would a different connection to the garden change how you use the ground floor?

Tell us about those priorities alongside the extension itself.

What would you like to create?

Your enquiry may concern a rear extension, a side extension or a larger proposal. Let us know the approximate space you have in mind and whether the work connects with a wider renovation.

If drawings exist, mention their current stage. If the idea is still taking shape, explain what you hope the additional space will achieve.

A brief worth getting clear

Before discussing the work in detail, it helps to understand:

  • 01The property type and postcode.
  • 02The proposed position and approximate scale of the extension.
  • 03How you want to use the new space.
  • 04Changes you are considering within the existing house.
  • 05Drawings, surveys or approvals already available.
  • 06Preferred timing and an indicative budget, if known.

You don’t need to have everything settled. The aim is to establish a useful starting point.

Questions about extensions

Can I get in touch before I have drawings?
Yes. Describe the idea and tell us that drawings are not yet available. We can discuss whether the enquiry is a suitable fit and what additional information would be needed to understand the proposed work.
Can the extension be discussed alongside renovation work?
Include the wider changes in your enquiry so the whole proposed scope is visible from the start. Any work Blue Curve Build can offer will need to be confirmed for your project.
How much will the work cost?
We can’t give a meaningful project figure from the service name alone. Share the scale of the proposal, the available drawings and your priorities so the scope can be understood before pricing is discussed.
Do you provide design or planning services?
Do not assume these are included. Tell us which professionals are already involved and what help you are looking for. The available service and responsibilities must be agreed for the project.
